Eric Faure is a ceramic artist based in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, 25 km from Cordes-sur-Ciel. He primarily works with porcelain, shaped on the potter’s wheel and then delicately carved, modeled, or textured.

Inspired by light, Eric explores translucency, shadow, and brilliance through surfaces that are sometimes glazed and sometimes left raw. He embraces the unique characteristics and challenges of porcelain, allowing gestures and imperfections to become part of each piece’s identity.

His work ranges from functional objects such as bowls, teapots, and plates to slender, sculptural forms. For Eric, function and artistic expression are inseparable. Each piece is made individually and intuitively, with a sense of fragility, emotion, and deliberate incompleteness.
